The funeral service
We are here to help you plan the funeral service just as your loved one would have wanted it. Saying goodbye is such a personal and important time for the family, and there are many choices to be made.
Whether you would like to have a service in a church or at the crematorium, a woodland burial, a ceremony on the beach or another venue, we will do everything we can to guide you through the decisions and options, and make all the arrangements on your behalf to make the time before the funeral service as easy as possible.
We have an extensive list of trusted ministers and celebrants for religious, humanist and non-religious services, and are happy to make the first contact or pass on their details to you to make arrangements with them, just as you wish. In addition, we have many contacts we can draw on if you would like to include special music or musicians, or any other special requests. We will also take care of newspaper announcements, donations, specially designed funeral stationary, video, and many other things. Please do ask - the choice is always yours.
Flowers from a loved one, or relative are quite often used as a last gift to that person. We realise how much finding the right arrangement means to you. This is why, at Penryn and Falmouth Funeral Directors, we engage our own professional and experienced florist, who is always willing to be flexible to your needs. All flowers used in your tribute are local and imported and the freshest available on the market, this will ensure your final gift will last.
If you are unable to attend a loved one's funeral, we will be more than happy to take your order for a floral tribute and convey your message condolence to the family.
An extensive range of Coffins suitable for either Burial or Cremation, and available with fittings and linings to suit your requirements. Finishings include Oak Veneered, Mahogany Veneered, Panelled Sides, Raised Lids, Solid Oak, Solid Mahogany, Poplar wood, willow, bullrush, and bamboo.
At Penryn and Falmouth Funeral Directors we are proud to be able to offer an all-round service, and can offer you help and advice on choosing memorials, new and existing, and guide you through the various local cemetery and churchyard regulations.
