Every life is unique and therefore every funeral deserves to be bespoke.
At Penryn & Falmouth Funeral Directors, we believe a funeral should reflect the individual. Rather than asking you to choose from a set package, we are very happy to begin with a blank sheet of paper, talk about the person who has died and what matters to you and your family, and create a funeral around your wishes.
Whether you are considering a traditional funeral, something simple and informal, an unusual venue or vehicle, a particular piece of music, a personalised coffin, or something entirely different, we are always happy to explore your ideas. A bespoke funeral does not necessarily mean a more expensive funeral.
We have always worked hard to keep our prices fair and transparent, and once we understand what you would like, we can provide a clear, fully costed quotation. For families who would prefer the reassurance of a simpler arrangement with a clear price from the outset, we also offer a number of fixed-price funeral options, which you can see below.
Following a review by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), all funeral directors are required to publish a Standardised Price List, allowing families to compare the cost of certain funeral services more easily. A Personal Farewell — £2,995
A Personal Farewell offers an alternative to holding the funeral service at the crematorium. A personal funeral service can be held locally in the Falmouth area, giving family and friends the opportunity to come together and say goodbye, with the cremation taking place separately and unattended. This allows greater freedom for the service itself while also taking advantage of a reduced cremation fee.
Simple Attended Cremation — £3,095
Our Simple Attended Cremation provides a traditional attended funeral service at the crematorium at a lower overall cost. It includes the essential elements needed for a dignified funeral, while still giving family and friends the opportunity to attend the crematorium, come together and say goodbye.
Purely Direct Cremation — £1,500
Our Purely Direct Cremation provides a simple, dignified unattended cremation without a funeral service. We will bring your loved one into our care locally and make all the necessary arrangements for the cremation, providing the same personal care and attention that we give to every family we look after.
